| I haven't watched the game yet , but well done to Saints WCC for winning in Oz. Congratulations to the team ,club & supporters. Great for the British game.

| Yeah, congrats. It's quite an achievement to win the WCC on Australian soil, and shows what a force Saints currently are. Saints have also put the European Super League level with the NRL for total WCC wins at 14 apiece.
I was looking at some NRL social media sites, and some of the excuses the fans are coming out with! Penrith weren't interested so they players didnt bother trying, Cleary was using the game as a training session hense why he kept kicking the high bomb, it's a trial match and Panthers purposefully picked a weakened side, the shortened off-season meant the players were at a disadvantage, Saints put their players on IV drips before the game to artificially enhance performance, and my favourite - the wind was behind Saints in BOTH HALVES and destroyed Penriths kicking game,
They clearly don't like being beaten by the 'inferior' English clubs and are well salty about it. Of course there are other NRL fans giving praise where it is due.
