Lance an easy target? Absolutely, because his performances make it very easy to target him.
If your performances leave the fans (and no doubt the coaching staff) wondering whether a young lad from the academy could do any worse, don't be surprised when you lose your place to a young lad from the academy.
We lose nothing with Lance out of the team, he is the invisible man.

Apart from about 40 invisible tackles when he plays as rotation 9 which tbh is his best role in our current squad given we seem to have 0 depth in the hooking department. On the other bloke , Jones got mom one week then was dropped entirely the next by KC .. if that isn't weird way of coaching I don't know what is. If I got mom then dropped the next when I was playing I'd have been looking for a new club too.

Think thats a bit harsh, seem to remember the last time we played Leeds he was the match winner, the last time he played in the grand final he was the "match winner". When we play badly he is always cherry picked by the fans as the scape goat, you can doubt his creativity but in most games not his effort.
Anyone know anything about the new name on the squad sheet - Davies? I'm sure Rogues will know something.
Only Davies, plays 2nd row and the latest rolling off the Saints academy. Iirc he is the only player for Saints who had international recognition last year playing for England Academy

Always good to see more kids coming through but I just wish some of them were halfbacks ..
We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

We have had a fair crop in the last 5 years. Eastmond/Gaskell/Lomax/Wheeler/Ellis/Smith all of them still plying their trade. Prior to that crop I think we had 1 in 10 years. (Briers)
1 decent half every ten years would be a good ratio for most teams, to produce 6 in 5 years and not keep any of them is somewhat careless. But in the end Walsh and Burns are a cut above and the one we bet the house on, got a better house elsewhere.
