I've noticed that penalty a few times this year from different teams.

Now why can't he strike at the ball. Surely that's the same as knocking the ball out of any players hands? Is the dummy half immune from being tackled or having the ball stripped?

I thought once the ball had been played by the foot then it was game on?

Its certainly negative play and I don't like to see it done by other teams, but wasn't the penalty given for offside/not square?

I haven't seen it again, but he looked square at the time? I mean you could penalise the forwards who were backtracking for being offside, maybe that's why burns wasn't sinbinned? I didn't see what the ref gave the penalty for ...

Burns has been excellent so far for us covering walsh role. People forget Hes only played 6 games for us and settled really quick. He's not really plsyed his running game yet as he's doing more of a ball player.

Not only as he brought his ball skills, rugby brain and kicking game, he's also got the wining mentality and grit that we sort of needed.

He's also very vocal and experinced head in the team. For me he p*ss all over Matty smith every day of the week. In fact Matty smith needs blake green back ASAP as he's well out of his depth

You can't reach in from marker anymore I believe

I didn't spot this until someone pointed it out but he was actually square at the play of the ball.

He didn't "reach round" either he just tried to tackle the man with the ball. It is hard to say exactly what he did wrong.
