Any news of severity of Jordan Turner's eye injury? : Mon Feb 23, 2015 12:09 pm  

I'm presuming he wouldn't have been risked as the game was lost. There was also the concussion protocol to follow. Does anyone know if he's in doubt for Cas game on Friday? I mean we could be talking about from a headache to a fractured eye socket. It looked like a cut, but hopefully no lasting damage.

He's had his mascara put back on and all Is fine.

Being serious, Id imagine it's more than a cut. I've never seen a player not come back on for a cut. I'd imagine must have had a bang to the head also.

He went off on what? 60 minutes - give the he concussion test would of left only 5 minutes to go, I guess there was no point trying to risk it ...

It was a funny incident from where I was. They seem to clash heads and the Souths player went down like a bag of cement but turner ran back in the like, soon as the game was stopped it seems Turner seen blood and went all weasy.

I think the Souths player came back on. Percy had a nasty looking cut and lost few pints of blood.

I think Josh Jones will replace Turner on Friday. Josh historically usually has some good games against Castleford.
