This is brilliant IMO. If he can pick up his career the way it was going when he was attack coach at Salford, we could be in for some very exciting rugby next year.

I would imagine that coaching defence at SL would be more about defensive patterns and how to combat a particular attacking threat rather than tackling technique. (although I always thought his defence was very under-rated, particular his cover defence).
Every one has been saying Longy is very smart when it comes to attacking patterns and also spotting opposition plays - could well be a case of poacher turned game keeper.
