"She's a Jehovah's Widnes" : Fri Aug 08, 2014 9:02 am
Just over a year ago my fifth novel "Two Seasons" was published. It is set during the 2002 and 2003 seasons with a background of work, family, old friends and rugby league in the fictional town of Ashurst which is 'set' somewhere around the Collins Green, Earlestown, Newton le Willows, Haydock,Blackbrook area.
I was in hospital recently for a few days recovering from a road accident and with time on my hands decided it would be an opportunity to get started on the follow up. It doesn't have a title yet but one chapter does. It was something that I aimed to include in "Two Seasons" but in the end didn't. It's called "She's A Jehovah's Widnes" It will probably take me well over a year to write but if anyone has not read any of my earlier novels, three of them (One Winter, One Autumn and Two Seasons) are on sale at Langtree Park and Wardleworths). They can also be bought on line direct from the publisher London League Publications at http://www.llpshop.co.uk. (Click on Fiction) |
