I always get a bit bitter about how everyone ever only mentions Leeds and Wigan when it comes to youth...

That Leeds score is poor considering their standards.

There are very specific reasons given. The biggest one was that there are coaches who are not qualified to the required level at the moment. Without knowing who those people are, they could easily be former players or just promising coaches who have been promoted and who are currently going through the qualifications process.

On the Leeds board they mentioned that there have been very big changes to their academy system and that they've integrated it into the amateur system far more than other clubs have, so it could easily be that Leeds swing back to first very quickly.

Saddend is just about right. I'm pretty sure the junior coaches that aren't fully qualified are Rob Burrow and JJB whom are currently working with the U15 and 16s. The current crop of U16s are probably the strongest group of young player we've had in over 10 years.
