kept getting him mixed up with bowen...both small...both bald....and both played for wigan!......notice he was the ref again who was involved in a controversial goal decision......well played the lads!

You have to expect the ref to be against you away from home. Far more than any injuries the sway a crowd put on a ref has far more bearing.

They got piggybacked up the field last night into their attacking positions.

We just need to make sure we get them at home next time and play with the same attitude.

How do they get away with stopping the ball in the scrum? this was outlawed years ago. Stevo had a right hard-on about it

No it wasn't. The rule is that the defenders can't break from the scrum until the referee shouts "out" Both penalties were correct. We had one given against us at Wakefield last week.

The annoying decision was the one with Bateman losing the ball behind his back out of the tackle and getting the penalty. On the replay it didn,t look as though Bentham saw the incident and gave the loose ball as a penalty due to Bateman holding is arms out in innocence.
I,m sure Charnley scored off the next set on what should have been a scrum to Saints.
