But we are talking coaching experience and not playing experience. He has not coached at say a championship level or even at a different level in SL.There is talk of getting Powell who has moved around to gain that experience.
McDermott would be another as is almost every coach in SL.
I think it's a bit of a side issue anyway as Cunningham is not the problem, it's more the same backroom under various coaches that is the question for me. We keep moving the coaches and yet the form remains fairly static, which to me suggests a culture rather than a leadership issue.
The leader can suggest something, but if the culture runs counter to that and the leader does not have free reign to change it, then you get the situation that is similar to the co-operative group. Everyone can see there is a problem, people are brought in from outside to change it, but that change is not bought into as those in the leadership structure run counter to the tops direction
