Funny enough, Leeds coach Brian McDermott also stated it was their most intense game!
Like I said in the first post, it's the first half, I can't predict what the second half would be like but I know we couldn't live with either team the way they played the FIRST half.
It was very intense with both sides going in with three or four men in the tackle.
It was also noticeable how both Leeds and Wigan were prepared to get physical and square upto each other when things went a little too far with all the niggling that was going on in the tackle.
I do think in part our game against Leeds was a case of 2 teams suffering physically from the effects of the bank holiday matches. So was naturally a bit slower
This however does not excuse our performance against Wigan, when we just waved the white flag
The Warrington and Leeds home matches were however games in which we got stuck in.
