When he was bad, he was very bad (especially in the first half) but I think he did well to not let his head drop, and kept trying to supply makinson (it's a difficult thing when ball keeps going to ground, to keep throwing those passes)

A better performance needed next week for sure - but I wouldn't be overly critical.

He was better than Manu in the first half!

exactly.Turner put in a car crash of a performance.

I've never rated him. He does come up with some decent stuff to put the winger in, but he's so prone to errors and should be far more of a threat than he is.

Cas had some reshuffle in the second half though. Having watched some of it back, they had Mariano on the wing. He's a prop isn't he?

Mariano went to wing when Dorn went off after 70 minutes or so and Clare went to full back. Mariano is a second rower I think.

75th minute Dorn went off. Mariano is a back turned forward. Bit like Chris Dean.

It was a little later than that, as it was during the drop out play on 77 minutes. We were like a moth to the flame in exploiting it though which was a very positive thing imo.

All seems very harsh on a fella who has played 2 games. He's a 4th choice centre 3rd choice winger. Lets not expect the same from him as we would from our top players. He's had a rude awakening tonight, I'm sure he does not need people shipping him here there and everywhere.

In fact Saints need him very much at the club, it is the Easter period, he will get another game.

What had happened to Manu, looked a shadow of his former self, twice last night he got dominated one on one in the tackle, never would have happen two years ago, he would have shrugged them both off.

Is age getting the better of him?

He might change his mind but if he doesnt I'd be inclined to bring in 1 quality back row to replace both and use the young lads who are impressing every week.

Back on Dawson I'm sure he'll be fine providing cover on the wing but I sincerely hope we dont see him in the centre's again anytime soon
