I agree, I'd have started him in the halves with Rangi Chase if it was my decision, but McNamara would have him on the bench covering for Tomkins at fullback no doubt.

I think its the halves which will prevent England from winning the World Cup. I think we've got a good 3/4 line and a good big physical pack but weak in the halves.

Why McNamara didnt want Brough is a strange one, he's got great kicking game, great organiser, great ball skills, pace, great rugby brain and can do that little thing different that wins games.

He will pick Sinfield at 6 and either myler or chase at 7.

Because Brough thinks McBanana is an idiot and is not frightened to say it.
