Magic weekend tickets : Sat May 18, 2013 4:15 pm  

My Wife and Daughter have now decided that they would like to attend on the Saturday and the Warrington club have sold out of unreserved tickets. If anybody has 2 tickets to sell can you please let me know (Saturday only is the preference but I'll buy weekend tickets if I need to).

Surely its just a case of wire ordering another batch of tickets from the RFL.

Its not like the ground has ever sold out.

Smacks to me of Warrington trying to get you to buy more expensive reserved tickets, as i understand the clubs get paid a proportion of their respective clubs ticket sales revenue.

On the #AskTheRFL session the other day, Nigel Wood or Blake Solly said that the clubs get all the money from the Magic Weekend (less expenses obviously) shared between them as it is treated as a home game for all clubs.

There's plenty of reserved tickets left by I need unreserved so we can all sit together.

Well just buy them from the RFL direct, or from another RL club who probably has plenty left, such as Salford.
They are unreserved so you can sit anywhere, with who you chose.

Just looked on RFL website out of curiosity there are no unreserved tickets for saturday available only showing for reserved.

Same situation as last year I turned up on the day and asked for a single day unreserved ticket, got told
There were none left but were happy to sell me a weekend unreserved ticket. Seems they are trying to rip people off or the ticketing system isn't very sophisticated.
