Lomax Return? : Fri May 17, 2013 7:17 am
Has anybody heard anything about Lomax's return?

When it might be how he's getting on?

I've heard some horrible rumours I don't care to repeat but some news would help the unnerved among us!

An article on the Star seemed to suggest that a number of long term injuries will be coming off rehab in the next few weeks and i think mentioned lomax and roby

No horrible rumors from normal people just a few idiots who do not support this club, helped along by another website. The lad is at the same stage as Robes about three to four weeks away. Players do get injured and have setbacks. it seems in this game when you show a bit of quality you are pilloried and that applies to all clubs not just Saints. Lee Briers Tomkins Barry Mc they have all had something thrown at them by loonies, and I know the original poster is NOT one of these.

Roby is more advanced than Lomax and could be looking at magic weekend. Lomax a week or two after at this point.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

There is plenty of news out there about Lomax injury, it's just a matter of looking.

There is no need to be un-nerved.

There is nothing in the rumours other than a date with the Saint's Lawyers.

For those who can't be bothered to find it themselves, this is the whole episode of lomax's injury.

http://www.sthelensstar.co.uk/news/1040 ... us_tweets/

The 22-year-old, from Billinge, sustained a hamstring injury against Wakefield in mid-March in but has twice suffered setbacks as he tried to step up his return to fitness, firstly ahead of the Good Friday match versus Wigan and, secondly, ahead of the Challenge Cup tie at Hull KR last month.

If the club put it out there, then we can at least read it before saying that there is no news out there.

There's no need for that!

It was on sensible enough question if you don't or don't get the chance to trawl around looking.

Thanks for your 'friendly' help.

He was playing in the Good Friday game all week and pulled out Thursday.

Fair enough maybe I was overly curt.

But the question has cropped up a couple of times recently and Saints have been pretty stern in their response.

Maybe I'm not in the best frame of mind to be posting.

I'm glad Saints are getting to grips with trolls, making defamatory statements is so easy from behind a keyboard, it's about time people realised their actions have consequences
I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.
Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.

Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.

Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666

0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".

Therefore ZERO.
Give the girl her dummy back.

I thought your reply was fine.
The pathetic Lomax rumours have been done to death.
