There is something to be said for that philosophy!

Having said that, both the Sky games were really entertaining this weekend. I was on the edge of my seat during the last five minutes of the Salford match!

The some of the non glamour teams - Cas, Salford, HKR and Wakefield, whilst not putting together complete performances, can all play some decent stuff going forward.

Also, when Cas/Salford and Widnes/Wakey come together, they are at a similar level and so will (generally speaking) provide a competitive match as well as an entertaining one (largely due to defences not being on top). Combine both ingredients and we have quite a tasty morsel of rugby league!

And their star players like Chase & Patterson can really run riot against weaker defences.

I also liked the look of that Theo Fages at Salford. He has the natural halfback edge about him - raw at present, but with real potential.

He did look good. Sneyd as well. Two decent wingers, Gleeson in the centre. They'll do alright when Koukash starts spending his cash. I just hope they get the increase in crowds.
