Hohaia - he isn't going to take the fullback spot off lomax and he's rubbish at stand off so IMO no point in keeping him.

Puletua's been a good signing, there's no doubting that! His go-forward would have been invaluable on friday.

I understand the frustration, but he's a guy whose rarely found wanting - unlike other props forwards in our ranks.

Puletua is one of those guys that can wind you up if you let him, but is good value when you look at things pragmatically. We all know that when he is in the zone he is virtually unstoppable, so it can be frustrating when he doesn't perform at that level regularly. But if you look at what he does when he's not on fire, he hardly becomes a bad player - he's still better than most of our forwards when he's going through the motions. If you weren't aware of what he can do at his best then you'd probably be more than happy with what he does the rest of the time.

Basically with Puletua you just have to accept that every few weeks you will get a monster performance but it won't be any more often than that. Kevin Iro was similar (although in fairness he tended to save his best moments for the big games).
