I really enjoyed watching Percival tonight. Stood out in an ocean of sheer mediocrity.

Sadly I think you can stick a fork in Wheeler; he is done.

I think the reaction you describe here is a major problem in the post-Graham Saints team. They crumble at the smallest disruption and it is a worrying sign because even an average team could win a match with a positive mental approach but we do not seem to have a positive mental approach so we don't even have that to help us. I remember our gutsy performances of 2011 when we would have sometimes three people depart in a match through injury. Imagine that happening now. We would be absolutely whalloped.

Great debut, kept Ablett quiet all night and was by far our most dangerous player in attack. It's a shame the rest of them didn't follow his example.

Sometimes I think we need a clear out of the fans, jumping one way then the next, no consistency, no passion for the team, defensively shocking as they do not appreciated defense only attack.

It's game 5 and already we are approaching 10 players that should never play in the red v again. Shocking loyalty. Makes you appreciate the wigan fans, who had to put up with truely shocking sides that got battered 75-0 against top quality opposition like last night.

Percival looked really good,pace and awareness and able to draw a man and pass,his tackling got better as the game went on,he certainly looks a good one for the future.

To the other point raised by some on here,i dont think we can have Manu,Sia and tp all starting and then going off at almost the same time,we need some impact from the bench and on of those three coming on would help there.

I'd agree, but swapping TP for LMS could do this.

Laffrachi and LMS starting could do the tight defensive first 20 of a game.

TP and Clough would gain good yards in different styles.

Put Flanaghan back at LF when fit and let him tackle all match.
