Abosolutely devastating news for our club - the hut that was recently refurbished as part of our 'Engage with your Club' event, where we serve tea/coffee and food on match days, has been broken into overnight. Literally everything has been stolen, including the industrial hot plate and fryers, chafers and anything else they can get their hands on. It's disgusting to see a community club providing a facility to keep 200+ local children and young adults fit, entertained and off the streets is targeted in this way. If anyone has any information that will lead to recovery of any items taken, please let us know. Also, if you have any contacts for people or organisations who could donate used equipment (hot plate, fryers etc) that they no longer use, again this would be very much appreciated. Paul Newlove had his grand final winners rings stolen last night as well.
