I would like more of Saints open style of play, but given the weather I would not begrudge the coaches going with the tried and tested drive it up and let Roby create in the middle. With this amount of water, he might be able to shrug a few tacklers off with his tackle busts.

There will be no free flowing rugby tonight pal just hard solid work from the forwards. These conditions will play into Salfords hands...

Not so sure, we are a good wet weather side with our up the middle routine. It reduces the chances of knock on's and tires out their big blokes. It means your speedsters have to have good hands to exploit those tired legs late in the game. I think Salford are on the charge and could do well, but they did get turned over by a Cas side last time they played who had only previously got beaten by a Bradford side on a Monday night game.

So defence does not seam to be their strong point.

Yeah I have to admit our wet weather play has improved considerably recently. I do think Salford will cause us a few problems tonight as they do have a very good side when if functions properly. Hopefully it wont tonight!

Salfords latest form LWWDL

Which is pretty decent considering the quality they have played in those games, but if you read deeper into the scores points conceeded are

34:30:34:20:24

Saints form WDLWW

point conceeded

0:18:42:18:12

So it looks good for us on form. I could well see us conceeding 12-18 points but Salford are more than likely to conceed about 30 points.

Now I shall go and recalculate pi, that was a bit 'Stato' of me.
