The thought did occur to me that we may have had a last minute withdrawl. However I guess only Pete could answer that one.

Even if he could do nowt in attack at least we know he was up to the pace in defence. Would be interested to know who he came on for.

I've just seen the tries on SL fulltime. Some decent play, but one of those tries we should have stopped, there was about 3 players and the FB involved in the tackle, but I'm guessing it was after multiple repeat sets and so we where just ready to burst. You can see where the confusion came in from French on the commentary as the highlights showed lomax ready to tap and LMS ready to run it in.

Part of me wishes we had given it a go and who knows, but I guess we have to be pleased with a draw and we are not in a league position to be giving away points.

I think given our ability to retain the ball today along with the fact we were utterly shattered from defending meant taking the 2 was the right option.

Ps just seen swifts try, that took some finishing, he may not be a winger by trade but that was some try. My first glimpse of the guy as I was away for a month when he was last in the game.

I know what you mean No1 Saint, it was the right option, however if we had took the run and scored then that would have been like Saints of old, just me being greedy.

Your quite right it may have been a late withdrawl - I'm just a cynic. But he did get stuck straight in in defence.

The try you mention was on the back of several repeat sets from drop-outs and fatigue was deffo a factor.

And ball retention - Mr Alibert had a classic penalties all over the shop!
