I think it's too early to be calling time on Wheeler, but I would imagine if brown see's no improvement next year he will start shifting people.Anyone who say Wigan today can see that yes they are well drilled and have good defensive structures and attacking lines, but Wayne also expects effort each and every game. I would expect no less of brown, anyone taking a week off will find themselves replaced by someone willing to put the work in regardless of talent.
I do think we have players who have talent, but there maybe an over reliance on talent as opposed to effort. Talent will get you so far, but in top flight games without the effort it will get you jack.
Pete I agree with someone taking Lance's place, I just think it will be a bridge too far for the current set up.
Tonight may have been another walk in the park for Wigan, but in terms of the rest of SL, it has done us some favours. We now for the first time have clear blue water between us and the teams below and Salfords effort have kept us in the hunt for the top 4.
We need to capitalise and take on Hull with a big effort from the lads. In a way making the GF for so many years may have played against Saints as a group of players, we seam to have the belief the same as Leeds that we can make GF's as we have the talent, but do all 17 week in week out put in 100%, or are actually only 1 or 2 putting in 100% and the rest expecting to win rather than going out their to smash their opponents each and every tackle???
