It just goes to show how long it is since Saints won a trophy, that is NOT the Challenge Cup.

Wigan have won the Championship twice and had a 12 year spell without a win from 1998 to 2010 and in that time Saints won it 4 times so I think Saints have the advantage on this one.

it is jonny lomax. he was still recovering from hes blood clot on hes brain, and was allowed to walk around the pitch with the challenge cup. terrible wigan side just shows form is temporary class is permanent.

Interesting looking back through that game, Edmo came off the bench to score a hat trick. One of my favourite players at the time, shame his career was curtailed, who knows, had he stayed at Saints, he could have gone on to become a legend. Would have been 32 now, and in his propping prime.
