To be fair, I've just watched the highlights of the KR game. Not a great evidence base to go on. But Wellens runs lines and has a step that seams to create alot more tries than say flannery. I recall in the playoffs he did the same to wigan too. So whilst not a first choice 2nd rower and could not do the hard minutes. He could do a job as a sub if we where down on numbers.
He's be in my team ahead of Flannery at 2nd row.
But that's not saying much.
Give it time though, injuries will come and we will have alot lets options than currently.
