What's the word on these guys?

Shenton, TP and Wello. When are we expected to see them back?

Also, what's the sketch with the 2 Irish chappies? Are they still at montpellier? Does that season run summer or winter? When are they due back?

Apparently all three are aiming for week 1, but are not certain to be back that soon. Shenton has recovered from his elbow problem, but has some lingering nerve damage in his shoulder, Wellens is still on the mend from his achilles problem and I believe TP had surgery on his shoulder to fix a problem he was carrying in the playoffs.

Not sure on the paddies.

Shenton - Nerve damage in his shoulder like Clough had last year, could be looking at round 4 but its uncertain how long it will take.

TP - Shoulder injury, looking to be back round 1.

Wellens - Had an operation on his Achilles, probably won't be back for round 1. Round 3 is a realistic target.

McCluskey and Cross - Still in Montpelier, not sure when they're back but will go back into the u20's at first.

There should be no rush for any of these either for game one or two. The rest of the team should be up to performing at a high standard to compete with salford and quins.

I agree with you in the main, but I think we can expect a different sort of side at the Broncos this season. They'll probably still be finding their feet, but they've made some pretty handy signings.

Both Cross and McCloskey are still at Montpellier, playing alongside Kevin Henderson.
