I am not paranoid about aus refs; just stating facts - they wouldn't even let us have a neutral VR without an aus "overseer" last time we played them. Lets see who the officials are when we play them this time - they will certainly not be all UK/French.
The guy on friday night made a few mistakes which unfortuantely seemed to be against us for some odd reason. In addition, he allowed some really bad holding down and messing about at the PTB which doesn't bode well for the tournament esp if he is involved which looks likely.

The French game wasn't about the score, it was to give players a run out, give the players chance to play with each other in game situation.
The game was perfect prep for the four nations.
