Totally agree.

I feel sorry for Wheeler. He has a great rugby brain and some serious talent but thanks to a cynical play by an idiot Aussie he has spent most of the season in rehab. I really do hope he has the body for RL because he's a talent we really could do with having on the field.

He's not a patch on Leon pryce who is by far the best 6 at the club and possibly the league.

I bet wheeler ain't even played 5 full games at 6 so i find it strange tat anyone can say he's the best 6 at the club.

I didn't actually say he's the best 6 at the club; I was careful not to make that claim - he has not proved himself yet by a long way.

I stick by my statement that he is the finest talent at 6 at the club IMO. I know people who have actaully played alongside GW and they also think he has the most talent of all the youngsters.

Talking of Leon, according to todays independant "Leon Pryce, is named in their squad to play Catalan Dragons, the club he is widely expected to join next season".
So, if thats true and we don't sign anyone new it will be either gaskell or wheeler at 6 next season...........

Fair enough, I may have not read your post proper.

I hope wheeler is the great 6 that people are saying but he can't last 2 mins playing out wide in the centre so he'd be fooked in the thick of the action.

If we don't sign a proper halfback next year we will be in trouble.

At least he wont have to face being fouled by that dirty bar steward hoffman who has had such a great time with the pies, he has only been able to stick it out for 12 months.
