Michael Shenton has been added to the 19 man squad for this Friday's clash with Hull FC, however he is still considered highly doubtful to regain his fitness for match time.
Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook will also miss out after being handed a 1 match ban and a £300 fine for a Grade B offence committed in last Friday's 35 - 28 loss to Warrington.
Thomas Armstrong is the other change from the 19 man squad as he has been overlooked with Matty Ashurst coming in to make up the 19. Whilst Scott Moore plays for the second week running after a 2 week internal suspension.

If Shents is available, I'd get him in and use Soliola off the bech as the 4th prop kind of role. That bench is too light to take on the beasts from Hull.
If Shenton pulls through then the bench would look slightly stronger, also remembering that it is unfortunate LMS is banned. We could of had a fairly strong bench. With Clough possible for possible for Wakefield next week we could be going into the Catalans game with a strong 19 man squad.

I reckon that's the line up, it's pretty much our first choice pack so we can't moan about the injuries there even with LMS missing. The numbers on the shirts say it all 8 through to 13.
True the bench is lacking a prop, but the bench has been lacking a prop all season, it was even lacking a prop last week, when we have 4 props, as we play with 3 props from the start, so when it comes to rotation during the match at some point a prop gets replaced by a 2nd rower.
In the end that's just the way Royce likes it. 3 props from the start I'm sure if he was given an option he's play with 5 props every match (3 on the field, 2 on the bench), but that would require the squad to have about 7 props to account for injury and rotation.
If it was me I'd be tempted with having Eastmond at centre giving us a bit more bulk on the bench, but as Royce likes a back on the bench, he's pretty much nailed on for that spot until Leon comes back now, given that Gardner and Shenton are out.
