NO NO NO NO

Will we NEVER learn - Jonny is great -will be even greater but he is not ready to play for England YET. Its only a few short years since the world was proclaiming that Kevin Penny was the great white hope fast tracked into the England set up to end up being loaned out of Wakefield for god's sake!

Give him time and let him learn his trade everyone will benefit then.

Theoretically, Jonny Lomax has been around long enough to be considered for a place in the England team. But he just hasn't played at 7 for long enough. Still, he could have a go in the Exiles match, see how he fares. I'm not against the idea. If he's good enough then he will take it to them. I think he has the right attitude anyway. Looks fearless on the pitch. It's not like we are overwhelmed by options and he certainly does do a catchy looking step thingy.

To be fair Lomax has played well but injured too. Brown should partner Brough in all honesty, they are playing well ad Shuddersfield.

Brown was rubbish in the Four Nations.

This would have been the ideal time to try Lomax out. Just to try him, like Smith did with Eastmond and Tomkins. Presumably McBanana is waiting for Widdop.

safe to Widdop will be our 6 I think when hes available. Lomax will be a 7 going forward and I expect him to get the shirt to prove it next year.

Brown may have been poor last year but at least he's a specialist 6 unlike any other player in the announced squad.
