Yet another two more good players off the Saints production line. You can only imagine what we could produce in the years to come.

In a way the young guys are more exciting than overseas signings as they have limitless potential unlike imports who are known commodities.

I feel that Gaskell is under rated by the Saints fans at the moment. Makinson already looks like a superstar before getting out of single figure appearances. While I cannot wait to see Carl Forster makes his debut.

He looks to have the potential to be the most natural number 7 we have produced in years. At the moment it is just that - potential - but he is already a brilliant partner for a quick, agile stand off.

Eastmond was 'ok' but nothing like the player who played for England and stood out. I'd agree its the best he's mustered up this year but that's not exactly setting the bar high is it.

Brian Noble also joined the Lomax for England brigade on The Super League Show.

I hope to god he stays fit for the rest of the season, he can really make the difference to us. It's nice to see some real quality coming through our academy in the backs as of late with Lomax, Foster, Wheeler and co. all having tremendous potential.

Interesting. I wouldn't have gone for him at centre as I still worry about him being lightweight, but feel he has to move infield at some point if he's going to fufill his potential as a player, but I'd lean towards him being a full back.

He made a very nice "centre's" break from a 2 on 2 position on Friday.
