Leave Gary Wheeler alone. If it hadn't been for that dirty git Hoffman from Wigan, he would have still been our stand off and we'd have been ripping teams to shreds.

As for Percival ... since Scott Moore had his debut at 16, I don't see why a 17 year old can't have his debut at 17. That guy Clarke at Cas is 17. He's injured at present - a big risk with young players yet to develop physically - but a real talent when playing. If Percival has missed a large chunk of time due to injury then he won't be match fit for some time yet. But when he gets there and if he's good enough then throw him in is what I say. If they're good enough, they're old enough (with props being the exception as they also have to be big enough!).

To be fair centre is not one of the positions we're in bad spot for as Shenton and Meli have been largely unaffected by the soggy biscuit syndrome. We have also got plenty of players who could cover the centres before we go throwing another child to the lions.

Very classy centre who as terrorised every defence this season and scored 2 on Saturday to win his home town club Widnes.

Keep up the good work lad!

Thank you Mrs Percival we will keep a look out for your son.

How does he compare to Lewis Galbraith ?
They play the same position (centre) but Percival is a year older.

Mark Percival is more like Shenton but with a more impressive attacking game. While Galbraith is a massive unit in the Senior mould.

They'll be 3 and 4 on the tour to OZ.

As much as I admire your enthusiasm on the matter, what you have failed to mention purposely or not is that Percy is part of the 'Jets' programme, in which 6 of the 16/17 year olds from the academy are asked to train with the first team coaching staff and on rare occasions the first team players. Not to detract from someone who is a talented player but lets get things into perspective and not put a lot of pressure on a kids shoulders before he's even made it into the reserves.

All i was trying to say was that it would be nice to ease him into the first team and hopefully he can be an established first team player at 22.Instead of playing week in week out at a young age, in an injury depleted side picking up injuries and playing out of position.Unless this guy is another Roby or Tomkins lets not rush him.

That would be why he had his arm in a sling then. :D

Well, if it isn't my old friend Mr McGreg, with a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg.
