Again, you are comparing him to Scully. Scully was Scully. Best left in the past IMO. I'd like to see Wilkin playing to his strengths so we will get the best out of him. He isn't Scully but he is a good player nonetheless and if his best is to be found at loose then that is where he should be played (catastrophic injuries allowing). IMO, obviously.

Was he not 2nd row in the 05/06 season when he was on fire?

Correct indeed he was. Hooper was the Loose Forward.

I think most would agree that wilkin is ok player but not the player we thought he'd be but is still ok hard working player.

Exactly. Wilkin is a hard working back row forward who should have reached his massive potential when we signed him but he has still carved out a very good career for himself.

No idea. Not really bothered to be honest. I'm just concerned that he plays to his strengths now and I'm not bothered about whether he is as good as Scully or not. I'm not disappointed in Wilkin like you and some others are. I'd just like him to get a decent run at loose under Royce Simmons because from what I saw at the outset of the season, he could look very good for us there.

I hope he plays to his strengths to as it's been along time coming.

I would like to see Wilkin given a run at Loose Forward because I doubt he has had that chance of a decent run there since he signed for us.

Lets be honest here Wilkin as I have previously stated has carved out a very good career for himself as a Second Row Forward. Its only fair however to really judge him after he has been given a lengthy run in his favoured position at Loose Forward.
