in January 2010 a Young Rugby Player, Joe May, Had his Dreams ended when he recieved a blow to the top of his head during a game, knocking him out cold and into a minor coma, and he was rushed into Leeds Hospital, where after only 1 hour and 15 minutes after he recieved the injury he was rushed to intensive care unit where he was examined by doctors.
Joe was taken for a MRI scan the following morning after regaining conciousness. and as a result the Doctors found an Impact caused Brain Tumour.
Joe Has Since Recovered from His horrific injury but has hope to become a Rugby League Official or Coach.
Andrea's Gift Gave joe the Chance to become a Rugby League coach when they arranged for Kevin Green, a Local Rugby player, to scout local games and arrange for a team to be compiled of the best 25 players.
Since Then Joe has been able to coach a Successful Charity Rugby League team to 6 wins from 8 Games, narrowly missing out of a £10,000 cash prize after losing 37-36 to The S.A.S. (Scotland All Stars) in the Final of the Charity RL Cup (Scotland).
