I booked a week away last night with a return flight on the Saturday morning as opposed to late Saturday evening as originally planned; I could see the game being changed and held back booking.
Some peoples work etc does not allow such flexibility and I feel sorry for those who miss rearranged games due to pre-booked holidays. A Saturday to Saturday week away is ideal in between matches on a Friday and a Sunday the following weekend.
Can the RFL not negotiate a compromise with Sky? Why cannot the fixtures be arranged so that each club has one such a clear week over Summer with Sky agreeing that the 2 particular fixtures will not be changed; in practice this simply means that Sky will decide that one particular fixture for every club over Summer will not be televised (the Friday one still can be).
More important however must be an agreement that no Catalan home game should be moved (other than kick off time).
I've no problem with Sky changing dates in principle on the basis of he who pays the piper etc but would it be unreasonable to ask for these modest concessions?

The majority of Friday and Saturday matches are left alone, I just wouldn't bank on a Sunday game staying Sunday.
