Don't really go for this album masterpiece stuff, prefer each song on it's merit but here goes....

1: Exile on main street - Rolling Stones
2: True - Spandau Ballet
3: London Calling - The Clash
4: Lou Reed - Transformer
5: David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust
6: Blondie - Parellel Lines
7: Kinks - Village Green Preservation Society
8: Small Faces - The Autumn Stone
9: Rolling Stones - Let it Bleed

10: Any 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's compilation, anything easy listening...Neil Diamond, Glen Campbell, Matt Monroe etc. Oh and Soundtrack and Classical compilations

Some albums just have a great feel and build to a crescendo. 'Once upon a time in the West' wouldn't work if it just cut straight to the shoot-out. That said I am a prog/concept man.
