Jaya The Cat - New Sounds Of International Hedonism - ska meets dubstep meets punk and they all have a fine time in the pub.
Roughneck Riot - This Is Our Day - Punk and folk, two bedfellows that you'd not normally associate, but this works REALLY well.
Faintest Idea - Ignorance Is This - skapunk brilliance, equal to Keighley's brilliant Random Hand (who didn't have an album out this year, but needed a mention anyway....)
Finally, my out-and-out album of the year...
The Skints - Part & Parcel. London non-rasta reggae band finally get their stuff together and put out an absolute scorcher of an album. Essential listening for any fans of any form of reggae or ska.
