An expensive night to go watch a poorly performing poorly coached side against an opposition we lost to last week in awful weather. Not surprising really

“You are playing a game of football this afternoon but more than that you are playing for England, and more even than that, you are playing for right versus wrong. You will win because you have to win. Don’t forget that message from home. England expects every one of you to do his duty.”

Leeds had the highest crowd of the round at this stage last year, let's see who that will be this year...

To be fair Saints brought a fair few to say it was the 2nd week in a row they visited .

The whole Headingley experience is enough to put most off , including the team and getting served at bars and Kiosks (although last night was ok as no one was there)

I’ve parked near Becketts park and walked down Headingley Mount for a long time and last night got parked closer than any game since I used to go with my old man on A Saturday in the early 70’s , when the crowd for a league game v Doncaster was around 4,000, I’d guess last night was about 5,000, possibly less. Given it was between the 2 most successful sides in SL , that is woeful.

I think at very least they need to make the draw much earlier and set the date much earlier.

If we're honest, nobody cares about the CC until the final, it's a dead comp in it's current format. Although, SL clubs could drop their prices for cup games, or even include them in memberships/season tickets.

Saints brought a decent amount across. The three stand for the Leeds fans were very sparsely populated, though. The pre-season games were noticeably busier, and last night was the quietest I've seen Headingley in many years.

I'd guess at around 5,000 and not much more.

Think most people probably knew the outcome before the game!
Not many regrets for not going…..

I wouldn't think away fans would attend in any great numbers if they knew the were going to get drenched in the away end with no roof.
