True, especially if it distracts attention from the substandard no-show of Saturday afternoon. Which, incidentally, was far more detrimental to the game here than anything Bentley and his dance partner served up the following evening.

No excuses for Bentley should not have been there but wonder who allegedly invited him from the pub. Why were the England Management team getting drunk with the players!
Who were the players knocking on doors and misbehaving! As has been said big daft lads and alcohol stuff happens but if the coaching team are present it shouldn't so somebody has to accept a level of responsibility. Might have to bring back the Lazenby Cup if Bentley gets a ban lol

No doubt Bentley is still friends with a lot of the Saints players in the England squad? Otherwise can't see Oledski inviting him unless they are best buddies.

A different story coming out is that Bentley and Wane were having a heated debate on why Bentley wasn`t picked.
Radley for some reason headbutted Bentley which required stitches.
Maybe Bentley was questioning Radleys inclusion and giving away the intercept.
Drunken idiot looking for the confrontation.
The rumour though states 2 "other" England players in a brawl.
Brawl maybe used in this instance to a bit of handbags.
Well at least Bentley has taken over Baileys pantomime villain character and just in time for Christmas.

Bailey was a far better wind up artist as he always got his victims to get themselves sent off or put off their game without it affecting him. Bentley seems to get as wound up as his potential targets.
