Agree with a lot of that you`ve said.
Wrt Welsby I would have him in my starting 13 but at FB in place of Tomkins and possibly Sneyd alongside Williams in the halves which is harsh om Tomkins I know.
Hill I disagreed with at the start but has been decent. Cooper for me was always the wrong selection.
Other than that not many other players would have got in that were available.

Agree with this.

We have enough time before the next World Cup or even next year to be fair, for some new players to force their way in. I expect this will/should be the last time we will see some of that squad in an England shirt.

Some decent players to grow into the shirt, and some who missed the tournament like Lomax and Newman. We'll still be well behind Aus though. A few better better players on Saturday would have go us through, but wouldn't have made a dent on Australia

Since we've not beaten Australia in a series for over 50 years I'd suggest that it might be worth managing our expectations there. There's no reason why we can't continue to compete on a level playing field with NZ, Samoa and Tonga.

Yep. He seemed to be cheering France at one stage when it looked like they'd score

He may as well have been wearing a beret and a string of onions round his neck. What a game and what a win!
