Yep. I agree. I wonder if the delay might be related to Derek Beaumont wanting to announce a signing to offset his departure.

I believe this is the case, their new signing was spotted at Degsy’s house finalising terms this week

I've no doubt LeedsLive prints a lot of guff, but they have reported on most of our signings this off-season well before the club/YEP confirmed them. I don't mind GH playing his cards close to his chest, but this has been the most entertaining off-season for years and I've quite enjoyed the LeedsLive coverage of who we've supposedly been after, as well as the rumours on here.

Hetherington said same in YEP when we very strongly lined with Ali Lauiti'iti. Announced the signing the next day .
