SL POE | Wigan Warriors (A) : Thu Sep 16, 2021 9:56 pm
Very interesting night ahead tomorrow to find out who we play next week.

Great that we will have Oledzki, Mellor, Tetevano, Vuniyayawa back for this one and I for one wouldn’t be surprised if Gale played.

Slightly off topic, I’ve seen again that the club aren’t running supporters coaches to Wigan.

They really don’t deserve the money that visiting fans are paying to watch their team at Headingley.

Fancy us for this, don’t think Wigan are anything special, not easy tough defenders hard to break down but poor in attack. big game needed from Tet (no cards or stupid penalties) hopefully Oledski back as well, and Leeming ok.
Last night our most complete performance of the season and a harder game than the score suggested, good momentum.

If Gale's fit, do we parachute him back into the side? I thought our attack last night was better than for a while. If he's off the pace - and there's a good chance he could be - then it could actually set us back against a side that's only conceded 16 points in its last four games

Gale has been border line appalling all year, his form does not warrant shoeing back in the side if anything other than 110% fit, that said he at least makes the bench as its a massive risk only going with one dedicated half back.

For a variety of reasons, some self inflicted, Gale hasn't had a great season. However, if he is fit he should start at seven, no question. Our left side looks extremely potent when he is on the field and he is our only proven drop goal specialist. If he plays we are a more complete side.

They won't be putting on coaches because of covid.

We might not need him if Gale comes back soon.

Hope the lad gets a good pre-season.
