All those defending Gale, its indefensible what he did. He put 2 hands on Kendall and shoved him trying to get to Williams. When he tapped he Williams he laughed in a jovial manner like two pals having bants. Hes got 2 matches. A leader and (captain) needs to give their head a shake if they think thats acceptable. You cant touch the ref under any circumstances. It wasnt accidental, it wasnt gentle, it was stupid. Im actually incensed that he did it. The equivalent of an inplay coach killer.

Look at what happened to Mellor and Briscoe, and that was a fleeting touch running into a melee.

Totally agree. What an idiot and what sort of example does that show the young lads in the team?
Maybe Mclelland and Leeming at HB then Friday.

Appealing apparently. They'll need a top QC to get him off. Cas squad without Shenton, Trueman and Watts but they do have a lot fit and rested. If we get a win we'll have done very well.
