Also worth noting as Marty says - our passing from DH is terrible at times, it puts our halves on the back foot way too often and you're never going to see them at their best until we get smooth and accurate passing from the ruck.

Fair point about distribution from dummy.
What I would add is that the on field leadership in last night's second half was a sight better than in the Catalans games. Whether that was down to captaincy, who knows

As i said in the Hull thread ours isn’t the best but Hulls was the worst ive seen in SL

Honestly, I think the initial contract length was ambitious given his age and injury record, but I guess at the time they were keen to attract him in. Same with several other players including Thompson, who is solid enough but I'm still scratching my head over.

Do I think Austin and Sezer make a better half back combination than what we have now? Maybe. If they work together well and are good team mates, I could see it. With the pack we're developing you'd like to think a decent half back combination would have a good time.

I think Galey will be fine playing in front of a decent crowd every other week. I think he's one of those types who feeds off the crowd.

I wonder if he ever thinks to himself “ why did I lose the captaincy “ ? Saw something with Jon Wilkin where he said they would wind up Jake Connor so he lost the plot can you imagine having dumb and dumber in the same team? All we would be saying is “if only we can get them on the field at the same time”.
