Yep, you are right. Think Cas will win though.

I can only see Cas winning if Warrington field a weakened team, something which may well happen.

Just got a feeling the momentum is with Hull KR - I know their recent W/L ratio doesn’t particularly back that feeling up!

Really hope Cas bottle it against the wolves TBH

Wouldn’t say it’s a dead rubber, it would depend on who would rather travel to in the first round.

I hope they bottle it too, but I wouldn't bet on it. They've beaten Wire twice this season (once in a semi) so there is no fear for them. It's also at Cas, and if they lose, it's Powell's last match. They'll give it everything.

If JJB has got the defence primed then there's a decent chance rovers will implode. Their attack was misfiring badly against cas last week for a fair chunk of that game. Though if we go into it with the mindset we showed against saints they too will have it won by half time. Hopefully we see some proper steel.

I still think we’ll make the play-offs. We are a chance of progressing through the first game too depending on how many fit bodies we get back. Cannot see us beating the top two sides when it matters though. With a fully fit team we’d have some chance but we’re not good enough to carry these injuries and cover for them.

Probably a case of qualifying first and then we can have a crack and play with no fear or expectation. I certainly don’t have any this year with the state our squad’s in compared to Cats and Saints.

Let's be honest, the general concern that we will struggle to beat Hull KR means other than one more game qualifying for the play offs is irrelevant. The top 2 teams and possibly Warrington on one of their better days are clearly well ahead of everyone else.
An injury decimated Leeds might push Wigan close but I think that's as far as the ambition ends. Let's focus on getting the squad right for 2022. We have half a team coming back from long term injuries.

All gonna be potentially around the 17 next year thats a good chunk of the cap to rehabilitate

Not convinced Warrington won't try to start their playoff run early by eliminating cas now. That'd leave them a tie against an injury ruined Leeds or Hull kr, either of which they must consider a far easier prospect

Wire wouldn’t want to go into their play off run on the back of a defeat to Cas here. Their form has been patchy so they’ll be looking for consistency and to make a statement. You want to be building confidence.

Wire fan for tomorrow, sorry Cas.
