I'm not a pheasant plucker, i'm a pheasant pluckers son and i'm only plucking pheasants till the pheasant plucker comes.

He has more chance of first team rugby at Cas plus its believed to be a four year contract this is a no brainer for Sutcliffe.

Might be Alex's choice but given Agars selection policy & some of the players deemed in front him the Club have certainly had an influence on his final decision.

Sutcliffe has been injured recently and the fact he played him in a major cup final shows he thinks highly of him.

I can only guess but I would imagine wants to be first choice in his position and he simply isn’t going to get that at Leeds it happens sometimes.

Well if Mellor and Martin can be first choice then no reason why Sutcliffe could not be

True but I doubt we would have offered a 4 year contract plus other players have now come in the mix ie Gannon Walters and Broadbent.

Wish him the best of luck. During a difficult period for the club I think it would be hard to argue he hasn't given everything every time he's played despite being asked to play various different roles. Talented player, great heart and defence and obviously aspires to more than being a utility player. Hard to see what more he could have done and like someone said in a previous comment, putting Briscoe into the centre ahead of him but have been a bitter pill to swallow. Doubt it was the final nail in the coffin for him as I expect he was already looking for regular first team action but I suspect it validated his decision for him. Hope he goes really well for Cas, deserves to be playing regular rugby

He’s injured ATM isn’t he? so i doubt Briscoe playing at centre had anything to do with it.

Maybe it’s just one of those things and nothing to do with the club and coaches.

Rumour of Bentley coming in the emergence of Gannon and Walters Martin may still get a new deal Newman nearly back his options for first team rugby would have been limited. As i said earlier a 4 year deal its a no brainer for him.

Exactly. He has to do whats best for him. If he can secure a 4 yr deal well done to him.
