I loved the Graham Murray era in much the same way that I have loved watching our golden era as we finally turned into a club that wasn't going to be bridesmaid's any longer and he certainly brought both the mental and physical toughness required for our club to be successful

What a ferocious pack of forwards we had during Muzza's reign
McDermott Newton Fleary
Morley Farrell
Glanville

Which player out of that pack would you run at if you were on the opposition's team and camped on your own try line?

I loved going to the away games during this era whilst taking great comfort to the home crowds whining about how brutal we played the game

Happy days and the letters from Red Hall warning the club about their aggression was the icing on the cake for me

Was a great era mainly due to the transformation from a soft lot of rubbish to clear contenders. The pack was magnificent plus the wizardry of Harris at SO.

That pack was immense, Harris was one of if not the most naturally gifted player Ive seen in a Leeds short, he seemed to just glide around the pitch and was 5 steps ahead of everyone else - such a shame his stint in Union seemed to ruin him, never seemed the same player!

Not ashamed to say Harris is one of my all time favourite players for Leeds. Incredible talent at his pomp

Woody: Can I pour you a draft, Mr. Peterson?
Norm: A little early, isn't it Woody?
Woody: For a beer?
Norm: No, for stupid questions.

Probably the best pack in my time watching Leeds. Add Martin Masella to those already mentioned and that is a fearsome set of forwards.

Could if been one if the greatest ever Leeds/game of all time if he had just stayed at Leeds. Only thing he lacked was real pace. Quick over 30-40 meters from a step or standing start, but not linger range real pace.

Loving this thread. I think that is one of my favourite eras to be a Leeds fan.

Remember the 'Men in Black' away game at Odsal that year? I think it defined the season, along with some of the league wins over Wigan.

Harris cutting the Bulls to shreds after they expected to wallop us...
Shaun Edwards having a massive hissy-fit because the other Bulls players hated him and wouldn't pass to him (Matt Calland in particular)
Graeme Bradley's jaw being broken by Darren Fleary (legally). Bradley was a niggly so and so and had it coming...
Even the backs got involved - Richie Blackmore clattered someone IIRC (Danny Peacock?), and then there was the Cummins vs Spruce hand-bags.

Happy days. Really miss that rivalry with Bradford. This was the game that made Caisley determined to get Harris...

Not sure how much Harris contributed to the Bulls going bust, but it was definitely one hell of a costly signing for them that they didn't really need either.

When the Bulls players walked out in their sunglasses to the tune of "Here come the men in black" made my blood boil and I was incensed by the Bulls club/Bullmania's arrogance that night

Quite fitting that they rightly got their arses handed to them

And the equally irritating crocodile clap they used to their fans after away games!
