Fortunately for me I have something of a grasp of the rules of Rugby League, the different grading of offences and how the disciplinary process works.
Fortunately for you, it's all laid out on the Disciplinary section of the RFL website.

Let's turn our delusions into dreams, then we'll fly.....!

Maybe the fact watts just done exactly the same and only given 10 by the same ref suggests A; The RFL got it wrong and the ban should be over turned immediately and The RFL apologises.
B; the RFL haven’t a fooking clue and Thaler is a cheating twit and the RFL are covering up either his incompetence or the fact he’s a cheat. Just putting this out there.

And yet the club didnt appeal the verdict. They accepted it and moved on.

Stop blaming everyone except the guy who actually made the challenge.

Hey i’m fine with it, if the RFl have set a precedent with this type of tackle, but we call new this would happen 4 weeks down the line its now just a sin bin and suspect there will not beca 4 game ban if a ban at all. Thats the issue for me and many. First game we saw 2 almost identical cannonball tackles and one ended up in the bin one not even a penalty, refereeing inconsistencies or incompetence is a real problem, along with the spin of the wheel disciplinary panel.

Can you point to a tackle directly comparable to the Tetevano one? I can't think of one. Finding less bad ones, or different offences, and complaining they get lesser sanctions seems to be the problem here.

And it's the judiciary decisions (this isn't "the RFL" like it's Rimmer sat making decisions) you'd need to look at as the on-field ones will inevitably be less comparable; that's arguably where Tetevano was unlucky as in a non-TV game he may have got away with it. One replay was enough for it to be obvious he was going to get a red card if the VR had a word.
"Brian McDermott, with a wry smile, nods when asked if he remembers a specific incident which made him realise he was a prick. 'I do', he murmurs."

The 2 cannonball tackles you mention was not similar at all. In fact Powells tackle wasnt a cannonball in my opinion. He was 3rd man in, came from the side and made first contact above the knee. It looked a perfectly good tackle to me. The 2nd one was very dangerous in my opinion, the Hull player came from directly behind, made contact around the back of the knee and with the 2 Hull players holding the ball carrier he was always going to end up in a bad and dangerous position. I wouldnt have been suprised to see a red for that one.

Why tho are you blaming the referee and the disciplinary panel and not Tetevano for that incident? If he doesnt make the challenge the ref has no decision to make? Its Tetevano's fault he got banned and nobody elses. He was stupid and made a poor challenge which cost his team.

It always makes me laugh at games when a player drops the ball and the referee gives a knock on and idiot fans moan at the ref for giving a decision. Why dont they blame the player for not catching the bloody thing in the 1st place?
