I think the difference between the two incidents is Tetavano had been pushing the line all the first half

Faraimo's was far worse, as indicated by the injured player. How we're in a situation where we lost Tetevano for 4.5 games (and basically forfeited a cup run) while Faraimo was allowed back on the pitch to help them to 2 SL points and will only miss two games for a far more blatant attack to the head is bewildering.

I've been watching quite a bit of NRL. FAR later and worse hits than Tet's seem to be getting 10 minutes in the bin, and going on report. The directive is clearly not to ruin games, and keep the best players on the field to enhance the spectacle.
Opposite aproach over here, and the RFL moan about not retaining or attracting new fans. For malicious and reckless play I support harsh sanctions, but the current margins are further ruining the game over here.
I was also shocked how some of our own fans can't seem to see this, and are in full support of the sending off and 4 game ban!

Can understand why it was a send off but would like to see just a yellow. With the way concussions and brain injury lawsuits in union I'd expect to see harsher sentences.

I suspect this is a real driver. Again though it is the logic and consistency of application that’s the thing.

We don’t need box ticking, we need rules which genuinely, clearly and consistently deter dangerous behaviour where head injury is concerned.

Good job for Richardson he didn't make the contact he attempted otherwise he might well have been missing a few too
