Newman and Broadbent could be Leeds centres for a long time; but neither are at their peak yet. Having Hurrell around would still make sense to me; if course it depends on the cost.

We also have other talented centres in the system.

It sounds like Eastmond is the 6 we have been calling for in the club’s view; Agar talking about this being a long-term signing. By that I imagine Lui will be on his way out. Prior sounds like he’s done. Even Martin keeping the options open.

I reckon we have a few irons in the fire from NRL and progress with one or two new signings might determine who we retain on the current roster too.

As the young lads are maturing we could afford to have a smaller senior squad of better quality players.

Personally I don't think it's a case of losing a Hurrell to get a Taupau. Plenty of players out of contract and Prior likely to leave anyway. The trick is to bring in another top class player without losing one. That's the only way to move forward.

I understand that other overseas players are leaving but let's say Hurrells wage goes on Taupau for example then we have Tetevano & Taupau as our marquee. If we lose let's say Prior & Lui then there wage and spots can be used on other overseas player if we wanted to bring them in but on the flip side we could use there wages to get Taupau and have Hurrell & Tetevano as our marquee it boils down too who we have on cap and who we have parlty exempt om cap as our marquee we'd probably want our highest earning players as our 2 marquee so there's extra cap space too use on rest of squad.

Hurrell stays for me, I think Martin and Prior may also. Lui replaced by Taupau would be great business.

Id like to see Hurrell stay but i wouldnt offer Marquee money if that's a deal breaker for him so be it.
For me i can see Prior retiring & Martin going home ,id let Lui go & look to move on both Briscoes for 2021.

Hurrel is still our biggest attacking threat. Whilst that is the case I don't see a new deal not being offered

I would think to to sign Taupau we would need to used Prior or Martin plus Lui salary.Lui and Prior for Taupau would be realistic and fantastic business.
