By the end of this year I feel I’ll have a proper opinion on both - neither is bad but I do wonder sometimes whether we just need 1 Daryl Clark...

Leeming has potential though still. He’s a pretty solid unit and I’d like to see a physically dominant Leeds pack.

I don't know about that, I'm not such a huge fan of Daryl anymore. He doesn't give me enough when he plays for England, and is a tad one dimensional in terms of contribution for Wire nowadays. Maybe I just haven't watched enough of him recently...

I would've swapped the world for an in-prime Roby, but as said before I'm happier with our current hooker pairing than I have been for many years.

That being said, who do we think should play hooker for England? If Roby still has his legs at the end of the year, then I don't think there is anyone better. Don't like Hodgson for England. Him and Clark have always underwhelmed me in an England shirt. Would like to see someone else given a chance as back up to Roby. Do people think McShane/Houghton would do well at that level?

Daryl has been too hammered in defense with Wire. Didn't have that explosion anymore....

He’s too reliant on quick play the balls and their defence being on the back foot. He wouldn’t get that against Australia or NZ.

Agreed. An pretty sure Hodgson will get the nod and be asked to play 80 minutes.
Depends on his fitness to stone degree, but Roby still does a job too...
Leeming is miles away, but will be good for us.
