I think that story is pure bollox. See Marty's post on the Sir Kev thread. Seems pretty confident Agar is staying.

I dont get Agar going to Cronulla as an Assitant Coach. He's already done something similar i think with St George?

He's definitely in demand due to his standing in the game - which makes him probably more expensive than Hetherington would like!

However I'd be surprised if he left one of the top Head Coach jobs in SL for an assistant role in the NRL at this time in his career, no matter the money or lifestyle benefits involved.

This is the kind of job Agar would take after being sacked from Leeds.

Not saying he will or should be sacked anytime soon, I personally think he’s doing really well. But all coaches have a shelf life. You don’t just walk out on the biggest club in the UK to take a step back.

Don't think Agar would see it that way. Will depend on what they offer him, and whether he wants the lifestyle again.......
He doesn't have a big ego. He never really wanted the head coach job when he first came in......

Are we currently the biggest club in the UK. Absolutely we should be but in terms of player investment and salary cap spend doubt we are in the top 4

Agar isnt leaving Leeds. Levi Edwards, Morgan Gannon and for that matter Jack Sinfield are all staying at Leeds also. Tho any rumours of those players was all total nonsense anyway.
